In his most recent position, Chuck, as the Senior Managing Director for Crowe Capital Markets which he founded, had the added responsibilities of serving as Chairman of the Board, Crowe Horwath LLP. He left a legacy of growth and prosperity in these roles, serving two Board terms, one as member and one as Chairman. Chuck developed a reputation of always balancing partner needs with the needs of the firm for continued growth. He founded Crowe Capital Markets which was a boutique investment banking business and quickly grew the business in its peak year to more than $800 million in transactions serving both small and blue chip company clients. Prior to this period, Chuck had the responsibility for being the Partner in Charge of Crowe Horwath’s Oak Brook office; leading the firm’s M&A Transactional Services group and playing a key role in guiding the firm’s international affiliation.
Chuck received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accountancy) from Western Michigan University. He held certifications as a General Securities Representative (Series 7 & 63) and General Securities Principal (Series 24). Charles is also a long-standing member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society.
Chuck serves on the Board of directors of the Penske Motor Group and the Wheaton Bank and Trust Company; member of the Board of Trustees, Du Page Community Foundation; Chair of Audit committee and member of Investment committee; Associate Board Member of Metropolitan Family Services Du Page; Recipient of the Roger K. Johnson Leadership Award 2011; Member of the Wheaton Lion’s Club; Member of the Board of Directors St. Francis HS, Wheaton, IL; Member of the Naperville Country Club, also on the board; Member of Citizen’s Committee for Engage 200 in Wheaton/Warrenville.
